The Believer’s Responsibilities

In my observation, some believers (disciples) are on standby or waiting on a touch, a conference or a zap from God to have change in their lives. However, in searching the scriptures I have found that that’s not going to always bring change in your life. The authority and dominion has been giving back to us through Jesus Christ and now we are to take back what rightfully belongs to us. (Matthew 11:12) Yes, it is the responsibility of the believer to believe, have faith, receive the finished works of Christ (Colossians 2:10) and to put the word of God in action; in our mouths when we pray and when we speak. (Matthew 18:18) When Jesus said it is finished and sat down at the right hand of the Father He left the responsibility to us to occupy until He comes. (Luke19:13) We are heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ. It is our birth right to walk in authority, dominion and victory in the word of God and to live in the finished works of Christ. (Romans 18:17) Below you will find a few scriptures that establishes the responsibilities of the believer. You are not waiting on God, God is waiting on you! DO THE WORD! IT WORKS! (James 1:22) Although it is our responsibility to work the word, there are times when God will intervene and provide a miracle. Have faith in God! (Mark 9:23)
